The First Meeting of the Academic Committee of Longzihu New Energy Laboratory Was Held

On the afternoon of June 21st, the first meeting of the Academic Committee of Longzihu New Energy Laboratory was successfully held. Eleven academicians and experts from universities, research institutes, and enterprises gathered together to provide suggestions and suggestions for building a high-level new energy laboratory. Nearly 40 people, including academician Zhang Suojiang, the director of the laboratory, and research backbone, attended the meeting, which was presided over by academician Han Buying, the chairman of the Academic Committee.

Academician Zhang Suojiang expresses his gratitude to the experts for their long-term care and support to the laboratory. He pointed out that the establishment of the Longzihu New Energy Laboratory is an important measure to implement the construction of a national innovation highland in Henan Province and connect with the national strategic scientific and technological force system; The laboratory is facing the major strategic needs of the national "dual carbon" strategy, tackling core technologies, attracting high-end talents, and innovating institutional mechanisms, providing strong technological support for the optimization of energy structure and the construction of low-carbon intelligent systems in Henan and even the country. He earnestly requests experts to inquire and provide suggestions for the construction of the laboratory.

Executive Deputy Director Zhang Yanqiang reported to the academic committee experts on the overall construction plan of the laboratory. He stated that the overall goal of laboratory construction is to focus on the national energy major strategy, carry out basic and cutting-edge technology research around new energy and its intelligent transformation, develop new theories and methods for new energy transformation, achieve breakthroughs and application demonstrations of original and key technologies, and create wind and solar power, hydrogen energy, energy storage The "production storage use" innovation chain of biomass energy, and the construction of a top domestic and internationally leading low-carbon energy innovation highland and research and development center. In terms of institutional mechanism innovation, implement a "task oriented, cross integration, collaborative research, and open sharing" institutional mechanism, and establish a research organization model led by the chief scientist. Establish a system of "project traction, open collaboration, promotion and dynamic adjustment" to tackle key issues, and actively explore new models for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. Subsequently, the Renewable Energy Center, Energy Storage Hydrogen Energy Center, and Low Carbon Industrial System Center of the laboratory conducted reports, focusing on the deployment, expected results, and team building of each center's projects; Deputy Director Nie Yi reported on the deployment of the laboratory joint fund, focusing on cutting-edge projects, selection principles, and cooperation methods, aiming to explore forward-looking and cutting-edge original technologies or products based on the laboratory.

The academic committee experts carefully listened to the report and conducted in-depth discussions, unanimously agreeing on the overall construction plan, scientific research development plan, and project deployment of the laboratory, and fully recognizing the achievements made in the laboratory construction. Experts attending the meeting suggested that in the future development of the laboratory, it is necessary to further refine research directions, increase research investment, carry out centralized research on core major scientific and technological problems, highlight application orientation and cross cooperation, adhere to the combination of talent introduction, education, retention, and utilization, and accelerate the implementation of major achievements, outputs, and transformations.
