On April 23rd, the first meeting of the Council of Longzihu New Energy Laboratory, Pingyuan Laboratory, and Tianjian Advanced Biomedical Laboratory was held in Zhengzhou. The meeting heard reports on the progress of the work of three laboratories, reviewed and approved the laboratory's relevant regulations, management measures, candidates for the Strategic Advisory Committee and Academic Committee, as well as funding budgets.

Vice Governor Song Zhenghui presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. He emphasized that provincial laboratories are an important component of scientific and technological basic capabilities, and the three provincial laboratories should conscientiously implement the results of this council meeting, promote efficient operation of laboratories, focus on tackling key problems, achieve early results, and achieve great results. The Longzihu New Energy Laboratory should focus on the national energy major strategy and the "dual carbon" strategy, refine first-class topics, accelerate the transformation and application of achievements, promote industrial development, and strive to become an important component of the national strategic scientific and technological strength. Pingyuan Laboratory should focus on the forefront of innovative drug fields, improve institutional mechanisms, produce first-class results, and promote the high-quality development of national and provincial drug innovation industry clusters. Tianjian Advanced Biomedical Laboratory aims to focus on cutting-edge scientific issues in biomedicine, cultivate first-class talents, strengthen collaborative innovation, and build itself into a leading domestic and international biomedical innovation platform.
