1、 Design Concept

The 100th anniversary logo of the establishment of the Chemistry discipline at Henan University cleverly integrates the three main elements of "100", "Henan University", and "transformation". Combining the spirit of Henan University in the new era and the concept of ecological environment protection, it has formed a logo with exquisite ideas, rich connotations, simple aesthetics, and significant aspects, endowing the development of the Chemistry discipline at Henan University in the new era with profound connotations.

2、 Design Elements

1. The logo presents the Chinese characters "hua" (representing the discipline of chemistry), "H", and "X" (representing the initial letter of the Chinese Pinyin for chemistry) from left to right.

2. Double "C" is the initial letter of the two majors of chemistry and chemical engineering; It also represents dual carbon, namely carbon peak and carbon neutrality.

3. The "1" on the left is the "Yellow River Ribbon", which is taken from the emblem of Henan University and cleverly incorporates the elements of "Henan University"; It also symbolizes the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin; At the same time, it represents the determination of Henan University's chemistry discipline to strive for first-class discipline.

The two unsealed "0s" represent the "openness" in the spirit of Henan University in the new era, and also symbolize that the chemistry discipline of Henan University will usher in a new era of development with an open and inclusive attitude.

3、 Usage Requirements

The ownership of the 100th anniversary logo of the Chemistry Department of Henan University belongs to the School of Chemistry and Molecular Sciences of Henan University. It is mainly used by various units of the Chemistry Department of Henan University to carry out a series of activities.
